Peter McCarthy is the Managing Partner of Barometer Capital Management, responsible for building and supporting Barometer’s individual, institutional and family office investors, as well as working with the executive team to set overall business strategy. Before Barometer, Peter was a principal of Roundtable Capital Partners Inc. responsible for business development and client communications. He joined Roundtable in 2007 and prior to that was Vice President of JJ Barnicke Ltd. in Toronto. His focus in the commercial real estate business was portfolio leasing where he represented the interests of some of Canada’s leading corporations.

Peter is the President of Golf Canada Foundation Board which provides funding for First Tee Canada, Golf Canada’s high performance pathway including the Young Pro Team, National Team and Next Gen Teams that assist Canadian athletes to compete on the highest levels in the game. Peter has proudly served as Club Captain and member of the Board of Directors for Rosedale Golf Club and also served on the Board of Directors for the Muskoka Lakes Golf & Country Club.

Peter is a graduate of Huron College at Western University in London, Ontario.
