Pamela Hastings is a Senior Wealth Manager within the Private Client division at Barometer Capital Management, where she is responsible for institutional client portfolios and origination.
Prior to working at Barometer, Pamela gained institutional experience in equity capital markets working on the institutional sales and trading desk at Scotia Capital. In 2006, Pamela joined Moore Capital Management LLC, an American hedge fund founded by Louis Bacon. In 2016 Pamela joined Barometer Capital Management bringing over a decade of experience working in investor relations, origination and investment management to the firm.
Pamela graduated from Trinity College at the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in 2004. Additionally, Pamela has completed multiple Ironman and endurance races globally. She has also had the privilege of kayaking some of the world’s most prolific rivers while representing Canada internationally in canoe slalom. Within her community, Pamela supports efforts to protect threatened landscapes, habitats and water bodies currently serving as a Member of the Sandoway Discovery Center, Surfrider Foundation (Palm Beach County) and Loggerhead Marinelife Center. Pamela is also a Member of The Corporation for Trinity College, 100 Women in Finance, and Canadian Ambassador for The Siyakhulisa Trust in Somerset East, South Africa. Pamela is a past board member of the Centennial Infant and Child Centre Foundation in Toronto where she served as a Director from 2012-2020 and raised over $1 million dollars for its capital campaign.
