Pamela is a Vice President in our Private Client Group in Toronto.
Pamela is responsible for relationship management and institutional strategy at Barometer Capital Management. Her personal approach and desire to deliver the highest level of service has earned her trust and confidence among the family office and institutional relationships she oversees globally.
Pamela started her career on the institutional sales and trading desk at Scotia Capital. In 2006, she moved into investment management joining Moore Capital Management LLC, an American hedge fund founded by Louis Bacon. She joined Barometer Capital Management in 2016 bringing over a decade of experience working in investor relations and investment management to the firm. Pamela holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours from Trinity College, The University of Toronto (2004).
Pamela firmly believes that the best relationships are forged through the adventures she loves and leans into. She has finished multiple Ironman and endurance races globally and is a budding modern pentathlete. Pamela has had the privilege of kayaking some of the world’s most prolific rivers and supports efforts to protect threatened landscapes, habitats and water bodies in Canada, the United States and abroad. She serves as a member of:
- The Corporation for Trinity College,
- The Canadian Ambassador for The Siyakhulisa Trust in Somerset East, South Africa,
- Director for The Centennial Infant and Child Centre Foundation in Toronto and
- Director for Toronto Community Rowing.
A former collegiate rower, Pamela coaches freshman and junior varsity groups how to be resilient under competition stress while maximizing performance.
